The Butchers Arms, Southam has reopened following a £180k investment by independent pub operators Punch Pubs & Co, with Management Partners Brian and Selena Ogden at the helm.

The Bishops Itchington pub has received a loving transformation from Punch, complete with new exterior redecoration that is in keeping with the pub’s natural style and charm. Visiting guests can also enjoy their time sitting out in the glorious sunshine to enjoy a cool drink and a bite to eat in the expansive garden area that has been restyled with beautiful furniture and a stretch tent, complete with good lighting and heating to ensure guests can still enjoy the outdoor space, no matter the weather.

Internally the pub’s large central bar area has received a refresh with added décor to enhance the pub’s authentic allure and intimate atmosphere.

The pub has reopened with a brand-new menu that features decadent pub classics, including a delicious handmade chicken and ham pie & tasty take on traditional fish and chips, featuring beer-battered haddock, as well as a showstopping Sunday Roast to round off the week with family and friends.

Management Partners Brian and Selena are well-loved within the community having run The Butchers Arms for over a decade.  They’re thrilled to be continuing their partnership with Punch, taking the pub to the next level, and ensuring it remains an essential part of the community. Selena said: “We absolutely love this pub and the community it serves. We’re thrilled with the results of the investment – it looks amazing, and we cannot wait for our guests and friends to come and have a look! We’re excited to start this new chapter in partnership with Punch, our pub has a bright future.”
