The Fox is located on the edge of Bar Hill next to a Tesco megastore and ½ mile from Junction 25 of the A14 / M11 and 7.2 miles outside of Cambridge.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced hospitality professional who will collaborate with us to make their business the best local pub offering the best pint and fantastic value pub food where friends and families gather, new friendships are made and experiences shared.
You’ll have the personality and vision to ensure that the Fox is a true community pub at the centre of all that goes on in Cambridge. You will show SKY and TNT Sports throughout the week, have pub teams for pool and darts, run quizzes, monthly entertainment, discos, karaoke, hold birthday parties along with charity events and in effect, have something for all ages and tastes. You’ll have boundless energy insatiably giving your locals new reasons to visit.
The Fox is a single bar operation with plenty of covers and a mix of soft and hard seating areas. It has a pool table and darts board to the rear and multiple TV screens throughout. It also has a small garden to the side and seating to the front of the building. There is also a smoking shelter and a large car park. The pub will also have the benefit of an internal and external decoration prior to reopening.
Ideal Management Partner
We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Management Partner. You’ll be the host with the most who is effective in leading and delegating to a well-trained and engaging team. Capable in all aspects of the business ensuring consistency from the cellar to service.
You will also become an integral part of the local community, will be knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the drink offer and will deliver excellent training to your staff.
We’re seeking a hospitality professional with kitchen experience, enabling you to launch your own food offer to complement the drinks range. You will be proud to manage this as a safe and welcoming environment for all the demographics who meet in this broad occasion-based business.
