The Butchers is a family pub in need of an on the ball and knowledgeable community operator. You will be an expert plate spinner who understands the importance of making your guests feel welcome, creating an inclusive atmosphere and supporting your team to perform at the highest possible level.

You’ll be proud to represent a well-loved pub within the community and always have one ear to the ground understanding what matters to your locals. We’re looking for a Management Partner who knows what makes a good event. You’ll ensure guests have a great time and high quality of service, food and drink every day.

The ideal operator will be larger than life, know their regulars, what they drink, where they like to sit and take a genuine interest in their stories. You’ll fill conversations at the bar with laughter, and nothing will be too much for you. Your team will love a great place to work.

You’ll need a passion for beer and food quality, having operated a business that engages locals and creates strong community ties. The pub needs an inspirational leader experienced in recruiting, training, and leading a team.

Together with your team, you’ll create the best local pub offering where friends and families gather, new friends meet, and experiences are shared. Guests will love your new drinks offer and traditional pub food.

The pub and location

Take the reins of a warm, family-oriented village pub set in a prime location in the centre of Bishops Itchington, three miles from Southam and seven miles outside of Leamington Spa. The pub sits at the heart of the village, well-loved for its delicious food offering. Visitors luxuriate in picturesque walks, and locals enjoy a close-knit community.

The Butchers boasts two main trading areas that are linked: a bar with 30 covers and restaurant with 60 covers. The savvy operator will take advantage of the family garden with 100 covers, children’s play area, and small beer garden at the front and large car park. You’ll also enjoy a spacious Kitchen situated at the rear with a bar servery.
