The Porters Prince of Wales pub has reopened its doors following a £173k investment.

Take a virtual tour around this cool market town pub to see the fantastic new look created here in the heart of Macclesfield.

Works have included a full redecoration inside and out with all new lighting, furniture and signage. The investment has created a cool atmosphere for customers to enjoy all year round.

The Punch owned pub will be operated by new Publicans Ian McGregor and Riz Suleimanov who have a wealth of experience in hospitality and are really looking forward to bringing a new vibe to this much-loved community pub.

Ian said, ‘’We are really excited to be at the Porters, the pub looks great. The investment has really done the pub proud. Riz and I have lots of plans for the future and look forward to welcoming customers old and new to share their time with us’’

It will offer a wide range of drinks but will soon become known for its gin collection! Providing high quality real ale is a keen focus and is a passion of Ian’s so you’ll be sure to get a great pint whenever you visit the Porters bar and with 5 cask and 4 draught ales available, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

New to Porters will be a small food offer, now customers can enjoy a tantalising array of Pieminster pies with their drink. Pieminster are famous for making delicious pies using the best British meat and fresh ingredients. The perfect dish for any pub.

Speaking about the investment Managing Director of Operation Andy Spencer said “This is a significant investment by Punch in an established town centre pub and we are extremely pleased with the new look created here. With our new Publicans, Ian and Riz at the helm we are confident that the Porters will continue to operate at the very heart of the community it serves.”.

The pub will soon offer a range of entertainment from live music events to everyone’s favourite pub quiz. Ian and Riz plan to build a pub that offers something for everyone to enjoy.
